Our team at BLS serves as the liaison between financial institutions, landowners, pipeline companies, and the oil and gas industry. With our professional staff, we are able to assist you with property management and evaluation. Some of the areas in which we can assist are items such as title questions, or the need to run appropriate public records where lands are located to find that lease or royalty deed which may affect those properties. Through research, reporting, and mapping of your ownership, we can assist in determining confirmation of lands (surface or minerals) that you may own, such as surface leases, oil and gas wells and units, surface lands affected by your trust agreements, or production information from producing wells. We also provide historical information related to leases that may have affected lands of interest, oil and gas wells drilled that affect those lands, units that may have been formed for the wells drilled, production from said wells, etc. Landowner representation on lands owned that are in or near oil and gas wells or units and need representation to protect the asset, BLS can provide geologists, attorneys, and experienced supporting staff to review and advise. Representation for hearings and meetings with public or governmental agencies is also available. Review of Division Orders can be provided by assisting in verifying ownership, etc.

If you are managing lands that you wish to sell, we can assist with the development of the information to ensure your data is best represented for the group you’re planning to sell to. We are also capable of providing you with due diligence to review and provide reporting of the findings if you decide to purchase an asset.
